Located 30 minutes from Bordeaux, DOMAINE D'ARDGALEN offers a 3 Bedroom Family Suite in an elegant 18th century Bordeaux longhouse surrounded by a garden equipped with a water space dedicated to relaxation (spa) and at the well-being (swimming pool).
The first floor, entirely at your disposal, consists of three bedrooms, a small reading and music room and a bathroom with bathtub shared between travellers.
THE CASHMERE ROOM of 30 m2 with powdery notes is equipped with a beautiful king size bed of 180 X 200 offering softness and romance.
THE HEPBURN ROOM of about 15 m2 with its queen size bed of 160 x 200 is a sweet blend of grace and femininity.
THE MUSE ROOM of 30 m2 equipped with a queen size bed of 160x200 and a vintage sofa is both modern and full of history.
The Namasté Reading and Relaxation Lounge will invite you to rest and meditation.
The breakfast will be served on the ground floor in an "English Pub" atmosphere on a farm table inviting to conviviality.
For your well-being, we have chosen not to equip the TV Houses. A beautiful screen will however remain at your disposal in the living room.
On the garden side, you will be able to go at your leisure of the swimming pool lined with its vast terrace until a beautiful wooden cabin where a spa of 6 places will await you for moments of relaxation in all intimacy.
Swimming in the children's pool must be supervised by the parents and access to the jacuzzi is authorized for children aged at least 12 only in the presence of the parents.
The jacuzzi area is open from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. for long stays and only from 6 p.m. to 11.30 p.m. for 1 night. 1st cycle of 20 minutes free. Additional cycles 10€/cycle for 2 people. Beyond 11:30 p.m. and on request, you will be charged €15 per additional cycle and per room or €40 per hour.
This space must remain calm and relaxing for all travelers.
Domaine d'Ardgalen is located 10 minutes walk from a beautiful equestrian center "Les Ecuries de l'Etang" where Nicolas will be happy to welcome you and 9 minutes by car from the famous Cabaret "L'Ange Bleu" proposing in the tradition of the music-hall of the meal shows as well as themed evenings.
The Domaine d'Ardgalen is located 6 minutes from the village center where Pharmacy, Medical Center, Tobacco, Bakery, Grocery and Hairdressers are present and the Château Haut Bicou where you can discover its wines certified organic farming.
Domaine d'Ardgalen is 45 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from the vineyards of Saint-Émilion, Fronsac and Côte de Blaye, where you can enjoy some of the finest wines.

"Hôte à recommander"
Nous avons séjourné chez Marie quelques jours et ce fut un super moment, une belle rencontre, un domaine apaisant et respectueux de la tranquillité de chacun tout en étant gentiment à notre service. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet endroit qui déborde de chaleur humaine.

"Reposant"
Un accueil de Marie plus que chaleureux qui nous a séduit par son naturel et sa simplicité. Un lieu reposant et dépaysant a quelques km de chez nous.
Le petit déjeuner était également parfait et en bonne compagnie.

"Parenthèse magique"
L'accueil de Marie est magique, tout comme son lieu!
Petites attentions dès notre arrivée, beaux échanges humains, petit-déjeuner brunch délicieux, tout comme le dîner que nous avions demandé: produits locaux mis en valeur avec la touche de Marie.
La chambre Hepburn est très cosy: la literie est parfaite et la mise à disposition des peignoirs et chaussons de bains sont appréciés!
Le Spa est magique sous son abri en bois, on y est tout tranquille pour se détendre et même déguster quelques bulles que Marie peut proposer en plus.
La piscine est très belle, nous n'avons pas pu en profiter en février, quoique... c'était tentant :)
Les alentours immédiats sont bucoliques et propices au running, balades VTT, ou à cheval!
Ce lieu secret mérite le détour pour les amateurs de belles demeures, de parenthèse de zénitude, et de belles rencontres humaines.

Merci pour un accueil et petit déjeuner aux petits soins , une très jolie chambre et de bons renseignements sur les restaurants et visites à faire. Sans problème pour partager la salle de bain avec l’autre couple présent..

Nous avons passé 3 jours merveilleux la maison est chaleureuse décorée avec goût la piscine et le spa au top. Nous étions très bien accueilli, Marie nous a cuisiné de bon petits plat. Nous reviendrons avec avec plaisir.

Cette jolie chambre aux notes poudrées est équipée d’un beau lit King Size de 180x200 au matelas très confortable drapé de son linge de lit en percale de coton. Vous offrant douceur et romantisme, la chambre Cachemire est idéale pour un couple d'amoureux.
Dans ce cocon où le charme du bois opère, vous trouverez un portant, une petite commode romantique, deux chevets relookés avec soin par la propriétaire, une table basse chinée et transformée, une table ronde Louis-Philippe en noyer à volets qui vous servira de bureau accompagnée de deux chaises médaillon, d'un élégant bout de lit, d'un grand miroir, d'un ventilateur, d'un tapis tout doux, d'un plaid et divers petits objets de décoration donnant l'atmosphère finale de cet espace.
