Chambres d'hôtes Cruon

Are you looking for somewhere to stay for 2-8 people? Cruon, the name of this lovely holiday guest-house , is situated on a small private road, surrounded by vineyards and fields. You'll find Esclottes, the village where we live, situated between the rivers Garonne and Dordogne.
Our fully restored, 300 year old former farmhouse is situated not far from the little village Esclottes, in the north west part of the Lot et Garonne. It is five miles from Duras with its famous castle, market and wine-tastings; 40 miles from Bergerac with its ‘old town’ and Dordogne river cruises; and 75 miles from the beach at Arcachon near the elegant city of Bordeaux.
In this part of France, the climate is mild; the people are extremely kind and helpful.

- Studio Nostalgie
One room with double bed (160-200), kitchenette, equipped to prepare breakfast or even a simple meal at lunch or dinner time. Salon with a sofa (extra bed), private bathroom with toilet. Entrance via private terrace, faced to North.

- B&B Porte du Soleil
Sleeps 2 people, double bed (180-190) or 2 single beds (90-190) private entrance, private toilet and bathroom in the corridor.

- Studio Le Jardin
Sleeps 2 / 3 people, with double bed (140-190) and 2 sofa's. In the corridor stands a well tuned piano! At the end of the corridor you’ll find a small kitchen, bathroom with shower and bath and separate toilet.

- 2 wooden cabins
Charming extra bedrooms on the little campsite. The sensation of camping but the luxurious feeling of a real bed and roof above your head. A lovely shady spot. The outside toilet and shower are close by.

Nature
In this part of France you will find the simple qualities of country life:
peace and quiet surrounded by vineyards and plum orchards. Come and relax amongst the sunflowers, watch the birds (cranes in spring and autumn!) and wildlife. Enjoy the ambience of the French countryside. The rivers Garonne and Dordogne are near, the Atlantic Ocean a little bit further (80 miles) but very exiting for a day trip.

Sports
Canoeing, walking, cycling, golf, horse riding, mention it and you will find it near to our place.
We have two electric bicycles for rental.

Culture
There are lovely towns to visit, eg.Bergerac, Bordeaux, Agen and charming little bastide villages like Sarlat, Monflaquin, Eymet, Monsegur.
Impressive monuments such as the big cathedrals in Agen and Bazas are not far away. There are lots of Roman churches as in Esclottes in many of the villages in this part of France.
