Barely through the door you will come across a little corner of paradise hidden in the heart of the old town, close to the historic center (Arènes, Maison Carré, Jardin de la Fontaine, etc.)
Housing
This large, bright, air-conditioned room overlooks the garden of the house. It includes a comfortably and tastefully furnished lounge area. You can count on the presence of a Senseo coffee machine as well as a kettle to prepare a little coffee/tea as you wish.
The outdoor lounge will allow you to enjoy the tranquility of the patio and have breakfast near the pool, right in front of your room.
Traveler access
Travelers will be able to benefit from a comfortable space on the ground floor of the house which includes: the large bedroom and its living room area (30 m²), as well as a toilet and a small bathroom (bathtub) located on the same level.
The little bonus being the outdoor space shaded by its wisteria and jasmine. This terrace area allows you to enjoy the flowery, tropical garden and the gentle music of the fish pond.
Exchanges with travelers
I will be available if travelers need anything (information, practical advice and restaurant suggestions, etc.) and I even offer to pick them up at the station if they wish.
A closed garage adjoining the house is at your disposal for the price of 10 euros for 24 hours.
I live on the 2 upper floors of the house, which allows me to meet a last minute need.
The neighborhood
Here you are on the heights of Nîmes, in the old Croix de Fer district which is often called "Montmartre Nîmes" for its relief and its character popular with the city's inhabitants.
At the crossroads of a street you will surely come across the old wash house or the reservoir which once supplied the town with water. We want to get lost there.
Transportation
Here you are:
- 10 minutes walk from the station crossing the esplanade
- 5 minutes by car
- 5 minutes by BUS (if you are loaded)
- + VéloTango station nearby (bike service from the city of Nîmes)
Other remarks
I share this house with my 3 cats who tend to wander around the garden and around the house as they please. They are gentle and very sociable even with children so have no fear.
I suggest adding an extra bed if you come with 1 or 2 children. You'll just have to tell me for the organization.

"Un cocon chaleureux en plein Nîmes"
Une superbe chambre d'hôtes aménagée avec soin par Marie. Un lieu accueillant et ressourçant entre les visites, situé sur les hauteurs de Nîmes, avec toutes ses œuvres de street art aux alentours à découvrir. Marie est aux petits soins, chaleureuse et attentive à ce que le séjours se passe pour le mieux pour ses hôtes.

A commencer par le premier échange par téléphone: amical, simple et clair.
Puis un accueil sur place très chaleureux, où l'on se sent rapidement comme chez soi.
Un logement dans Nîmes, très calme, spacieux, si joliment décoré et, de plus, très fonctionnel, avec une literie vraiment très confortable.
Un petit déjeuner excellent, sans concessions, à base de produits frais, des confitures faîtes maison et un miel savoureux fourni par un apiculteur local...
Et que dire de l'affabilité, de la présence tout en discrétion et de la gentillesse de Marie !
Un énorme merci, Marie, pour cette superbe et mémorable semaine de Nouvel An que des Alsaciens ont passé dans le midi,

"Un havre de paix au cœur de la ville !"
We were extremely well received by the owner who was always attentive to our needs! The accommodation is spacious, we had all the necessary comfort (we slept very well there), the patio is simply exquisite! There is also a closed garage 😉 which is essential in the city center so we were able to visit Nîmes in complete peace! In short, you can go there with your eyes closed!

"Une oasis de verdure"
The guest house is a haven of peace and greenery just a stone's throw from the historic center. We had a very warm welcome from the owner. The room is spacious and very comfortable.

"Séjour en couple agréable et confortable."
Marie, the owner, was very welcoming and smiling. She was interested in the hike that we finished at her place. Although located in the city center, the room is quiet. The terrace where we had breakfast was a haven of peace. Breakfast homemade jams and fresh orange juice. We recommend this stop for all these reasons. Thanks again to Marie.

"Une parenthèse enchantée"
What can I say about Marie's charming room, if not perfection, cozy, kindness, indulgence and tranquility. Indeed, when you arrive on the heights of Nîmes, Marie welcomes you with a smile in her enchanted parenthesis, a town house with a central patio full of flowers and as intimate as you want where you can share a delicious breakfast carefully prepared by Marie (homemade jams, fresh fruit juice, succulent fruits...) when you wake up. As for the room, I would say spacious, cozy, tastefully decorated, calm, you have the feeling of being in a cocoon. To sum up, we were delighted by our stay at the Patio Fleuri, and delighted to have met Marie. We will come back with pleasure to spend a few days with you. Oh yes, I forgot, the most significant thing is the garage at your disposal, essential in Nîmes.

We arrived tired from the road under a blazing sun in an old car!
As soon as we walked through the door, Marie's warm welcome and the magnificent patio gave us new energy.
The bedroom, living room and bathroom are sparkling clean. Everything has been chosen and matched with great care.
We tasted peaches, nectarines and melons full of sunshine and delicious jams cooked with love. We restrained ourselves from eating them with a spoon!
We have kept some visits for a future stay.
