On the first floor of the charming castle is the beautiful guest room "L'Orchidée Bleue" which can accommodate up to two people.
The guest bedroom consists of a bedroom with twin beds (180x200 cm) and a spacious adjoining bathroom with shower and sink. The toilets are located in a separate room.
From the bedroom you have a beautiful view of the castle garden and the impressive castle outbuildings.
The entire castle park and all the terraces are at your disposal.
You will be welcomed with a welcome tray, the bed is made for you and clean towels are provided. If desired, towels are changed daily.

Parking on the private grounds of the castle.
In addition, you can fish in the castle's private lake, walk around the estate and use the various terraces around the castle.

The rate includes a full breakfast in the castle's dining room.
Description of the neighborhood
The castle and the gîte are located about 2 km from the village of Vallière.
In Vallière there are all the facilities for a basic need: a bakery, a butcher, a small supermarket, a grocery store and a post office. But there is also a general practitioner and a pharmacy located there.
Every Sunday morning there is a market on the church square.
In the town of Aubusson 15 km away, capital of the carpet industry, you will find many large supermarkets, many regional shops and its many restaurants and terraces.
In the area there is space and tranquility, hilly landscapes with many lakes, streams, rivers and the cleanest air in Europe. But the region also has an immense history, picturesque villages with its regional markets. La Creuse was the source of inspiration for the painter Monet.
Towns like Clermont-Ferrand, Limoges and Montluçon with great history are around 60 minutes away by car.
Enjoying nature, walking, cycling, horse riding, fishing or a visit to a museum or a city, there is something for everyone.

"Très bel endroit"
Accueil chaleureux et très attentif par notre hôtesse. Discrète et présente à la fois. Très beau lieu,le plaisir d’une grande chambre avec vue sur le parc. Un salon et une cuisine à disposition. Très propre.
