At the top of a hill in the middle of a natural park “Livradois-Forez” - the Toscana of the Auvergne - the small farm, which dates back to the 17th century is a place for everyone- either to relax or to participate in the many activities available
The air is pure and the water comes directly from a spring.
A path will take you to the village
When the weather allows we eat either in the garden or in the covered yard
Each room is equipped with a washbowl, shower and toilet
Games and books, literature showing everything going on in the area is available.
The house is surrounded by a garden and a field, used for haymaking, which leads into a nearby wood.
Be it winter or summer La Faye offers different walks in the surrounding forests
The key words are: peace, nature, relax, tranquillity, time spent together, reading a good book with an excellent glass of wine.

Vertolaye is situated between Thiers and Ambert

Coming from Thiers – you’ll see the indication Vertolaye, a little bit further at your left you‘ll have the junction with the indication Vertolaye Centre.
Don’t take the road to the centre, +/- 200 metres further between 2 houses there is an little road with the indication “La Faye”.
Take that road, that climbs a lot.
You’ll arrive at a crossroad “ T” , here you turn to the right and then you split off on the left , there is an indicator “La Faye”
This part of the road even climbs a lot more.
Nearly at the top you’ll have on your right a little farm, with a cross, the house at the left with a small front yard is the place to be.
The house is recognizable on the glass logo.
